There's a shortkey to center the tracker so that you can zero in on the position you want to have your head in. You can also disable the tracker while doing Air-Ground runs if you prefer that with another set of shortcuts and then enable it again when you are done with the run.

There's also that "Neutral zone" (as displayed in the image posted before) which you can adjust and will make the view stay at the deafult cockpitview if you keep your head within the zone.
The video was filmed while it was really dark in my room. The only lightning was from the monitor and a poor desklamp. So it did sometimes happen that the tracker, tracked wrong and messed up the sights for me. You can clearly see that on the first run I made, had a hard time firing accurate
