Then I'll make a bug for it.

'[R-DEV wrote:AfterDune;1783348']The beachflags cannot be recaptured by the Germans. If you can in the current version, then that's a bug.

Already talked about the standing animation. We don't have a good one yet, so first need one. Until then, this is it. Or maybe I'll use the animation as used in the LCVP.
Have you tried using the same stand animation that soldiers use normally (i.e., when they're not in a vehicle, just standing around)? It only takes a minute or so to make the new animation system; I've done it before.

Normal animations are weapon animations, vehicle animations are slightly different.
If you can animate, feel free to get us a C47 standing animation - ready to jump.

Also the fixed MGs were removed because you can't be supressed when inside a "vehicle". MGs kits will spawn there instead.
I though about it today, if the fixed germans MGs are removed because of the supression that does not work in "vehicles" then you should remove the MGs in the higgin boats? because you cannot be supressed in there.

Just asking

Lol, no, they will never be removed. Those MGs are the only thing the US can use to fire with from the landing crafts, wile they're up against enemy cannons, mortars, MGs and small arms.

I've got a small bug that occurs whenever an anti-tank cannon fires. Instead of a shell firing, it sounds like a lot of static, and is rather ear-shattering. Don't know what could be causing this.

I guess I didn't explain myself clearly. I mean use (in vBF2) Objects_server.zip/soldiers/common/Animations/3P/3p_stand.baf. It's just the normal third person standing animation used by soldiers. Unfortunately, I can't animate.

A general Question:

Shouldn't Operation Overlord be flipped? I mean North to South and the other way arround? Normandy is in north France at the northern coast.
