Looking for a newbie-friendly clan

Post by FastSalad »

Title says it all really. I'm knew to this sort of gaming in general to be honest, I've played BF2 a fair bit over the years but never got too involved with voice chat, clans, etc so i'd need a hand with all those aspects aswell as the game itself. I realise this is potentially a big ask, and off-putting, but i hope some will consider this all the same.

Alittle about me;
I'm 20, English. I'm generally active late in GMT time (7pm onwards) due to work. I'm a follower, not a leader. Prefer simple roles in games, and not great at driving BF2 vehicles (Havent had the chance to try PR ones yet) but willing to learn the lot.
I've got xFire, Teamspeak, etc but those have been downloaded purely for this.

So yeah, any interest/comments appreciated.
Feel free to throw me a PM on here, or fastsalad on Xfire.

Hello FastSalad,

I propose you [F|H]Invictus! We are a friendly, team playing, tactical, English speaking, multinational PR clan within the multi-gaming community "Forgotten Honor". The credo of this community is: "Where Teamwork meets Gaming" and this clan is the part of it, which takes it's credo the most serious. Most of our members have years of experience in organized tournaments. We have what a vivid clan needs: dedicated PR-servers, TS3 Server, Website and involved and active members. Our servers are located in Central Europe.
More about us in this thread:

https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f522-c ... -clan.html

Our Website:

Forgotten Honor - Gaming Together

We are looking for serious team players ready to dedicate themselves to this team. We enjoy the game, but above all we enjoy team play. We do not expect a certain skill level but we expect you to:

- join the team at least twice per week for training/battles on public servers/clan battles (exceptions due to real life duties are admitted)
- follow orders
- always keep up your situation awareness
- support the team at your best
- involvement in our forums in order to contribute ideas, information or other kind of help. We do not have strange rules like "a post per week". We appreciate quality over quantity in all respects.

We finance the servers through donations. It is entirely up to you how much you are ready to donate. We do not demand donations from our members but would be happy if every member would contribute at least once per year.

If you want to join, follow these instructions:

-Register here

Joining the clan works like joining a campaign:
-Open the Campaign Sign-up page

- Scroll down to F|H : Project Reality Invictus Clan
- Mark the radio button and click "Start Registration"
- Follow the registration process.

If you have further questions, don't hesitate to contact Dutch, Liam, Michaelo or Fresz.

Best regards,

DanielNL

Just telling FastSalad that our clan offers the best promotion/rank/badges-work out there... ;) 8)

Nothing more. (if he is even still reading this)

From what I read we had an awesome clanwar vs. TP, you just missed how Invictus prevailed, huh, FastSalad? Or did you have a chance already to fight in that battle? :) 8)

To be honest mate, If i was looking for a clan purely for clanswars and such i'd have just stuck to playing Battlefield 2 without PR. I was looking for a group of like-minded gents who look for fun in the game, whilst enforcing a good standard of tactics, teamwork and gameplay. Tiger Platoon seemed to fit the bill on the perfectly, and after 3 days in their team can confirm it's spot on for me.

As for online ranks and such, I've got little requirement to fullfill my online ego.

@H.Maverick; I apprciate the well wishes mate, and wish you luck with clan in return.

Talking about clan wars, tournaments etc that is our fun ;) Everyone can be pub warrior, but all where it matters is competitive environment. TART 3 is launching soon and it is trying to get close good old PRT standards, so you might try that out. ;)

Daniel, I gave you a hint and you clearly failed to get it.

What you essentially are saying is that FH is the best an everyone else can piss off.

You are not improving your clans reputation nor your own with such replies as the ones you have replied above. Fastsalad made his choice among the replies to his thread and even replied to announcement it.

Tiger Platoon is on good standing with the leadership of FH, let's keep it that way Daniel.

I refuse to get involved in a flame thread online with a teenager.
It's not going to happen. If you have something else to say on this matter bring it to our forums.

Have a good one and drop the ego trippin' Daniel

That's all,
