[Vehicle] Leopard 2A4

Post by Trek762 »

90% Done, needs final tweaks. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. Watch out, the images are in 1080p.

Credits to the Ukkis for the model and PSD :P I haven't had the texture for tracks, so I used the PR one. But that's not it.

Are you using a specular map? If so brighten up your scratches in the specular and darken them a little in the diffuse.

If you mean texturing the BF2 one, then no problem, but you have to make me a R-DEV :P

Reworked camo and close-ups for details.

Only thing left is the damn "traffic triangle", don't know where to put it.

It would've been nice if you asked us first before sharing / modifying the model and .psd but meh, just remember to credit ukkis for the model and the original .psd
Also, before you edit the model itself in any way, ask ukkis for permission first.

Not to sound selfish or anything, but you know, it's his model after all.

Of course, I will credit Ukkis. I just didn't know who was the author (Fresz gave me the model). Anyway, I'm going to add this to the first post.

By the way, great job on the model and original texture.

Also, I have a question. Will it be OK if texture will be 2048X2048? If I scale it down to 1024, it will look ugly.

what i mean is modeling the new A6 turret and some small modifications that makes and Leo2A4 to and Leo2A6

and btw we dont DEV everyone, those who got DEVs are guys that are dedicated to PR and willing to help and are able to take feedback and work it out

Sorry, but I can't help with making a model. But if you find someone who is willing to create the model (and UVs, because I am still learning how to make them), I would love to make the texture.

I told you guys to credit Ukkis, and I thought sharing the model with other factions was something I had asked permission for when I recieved the .psd if not I do apologize.

also if I have gathered correctly Ukkis is now in the army, and won't have time to rework the model into a A6 version. If someone is willing to make it, maybe they can add the Norwegian targeting systems and upgrades. to the model as well.

You should be able to use the standard PR track texture, there are several tracks on it with four different parts for each of them: top, bottom, sides and teeth. Just position the UVmaps of the tracks correctly on the texture template, and it should be ok. :)

M1A1, M1A2 and the M1A2 TUSK for the US? :p

But generally most armies in r/l now only have one MBT, as a MBT can do everything a tank should :p

USI did some pretty cool work with loads of different tanks for both forces and it was pretty damn cool tank combat :D
