If the server's full admins will be without mercy on Non mumble, non communicating or non teamworking squads.

Squads that don't answer in Mumble SL, squads spread over half the map we don't want spaces wasted by such stuff.

Just so you couldn't come - There's tart on Saturday which takes away about 60 players.

Still need an ARG CAS SL who'll be a sniper and a Air2Air SL with non pilots on AA.

Brit air will be run by OD-S so you'll have a battle.

Sign uphere....

Also means you'll get on at event start from PRTA TS.

Due to Wicca (not really) our maplist is borked so we can't have skirmish and AAS together.

WE'll have to seed with something else probably ghost train AAS so brits can join Brits...

A bit annoyed myself as I wanted to see both skirmish versions with decent players...

Blame Wicca

Thought about asking for a server from someone else but too worried about possible admin nightmares - promise ASAP I'll find a way to run these two another time.

Server admins are too much of ******** to allow players to have a pleasant experience. My suggestion is that admins should follow a procedure before kicking people, like warning them first. In my experience, not including this one, playing on PRTA is like walking in a fucking minefield. You take one wrong small step, you get kicked by some fucking short-tempered admin on a power-trip. Seriously, train your admin staff on good procedure or conduct, otherwise, people are not going to keep coming back to fill your servers, as demonstrated by the population today.

^Exactly the attitude that makes people not like PRTA. Thank you for proving my point.

We all know admins are players too and it's hard to admin 100 players, but that is NOT an EXCUSE! Making rash decisions, such as kicking players for trivial stuff or doing it without warning or asking to hear both sides of the story, is just poor admin-ship.

You can argue that "it's just a kick, and you can rejoin." Sure, people can rejoin, if PRTA is a popular server in the first place. However the truth is, you are not a popular server regularly, like CIA or Hardcore, and only fill up momentarily during events. So if people get a bad experience the first time, they won't be coming back at all.

I know there are many others who have the same feelings as I do about PRTA. Your admins have a bad reputation of being strict tight-asses on power trips. Remember, admins are only there to make gameplay smooth, and in the end the players have the power because without us, there wouldn't be a server to admin. Stop blaming the players and check yourself.

Please take it to PRTA forums.

Always warming to know the organisation that goes into getting this filled is so appreciated by the great community.

After being called an ******* indirectly by you I'll be happy never ever to see you on anything on PRTA ever....

What is your ingame name - and what happened?

I'd like to thank everyone for coming but it's clear we have a few problems to sort:

PRTA is running latest server code thingy for 100p thus we can't run two different gamemodes on the maplist, so I was very upset we couldn't run the 2 PRF Skirmish first.

Brit Air seemed to have loads of CTDs, more than the rest but overall there were alot.

Sadly halfway through the night map the server was I've been told DOS attacked (don't believe it myself) with a mass CTD and horrible lag which killed it.

SO overall a lot of continuity was lost with these problems.

Hopefully one day they could be improved.

I think you have got no idea how Bf2 and PB is working. The kick you talked about is an automatic kick, and the message is the standard message from PB.

Are you server admin, I don't think so.
You are right, admins are players too, and that why they want to play instead of talking hours to players who did not follow the rules. If anybody would follow these rules, and do not stuff like asset wasting or team killing. It would be much easier to deal with the admin position if you don't have to handle players who did not follow the rules. If any one of the admins would count the hours they administrate the servers, I think you could put it into normal job with 8 hours a day.

About warnings, warnings are good, but they don't work, many players didn't see them. Also kicks aren't helping. We had got so many players who are asking why they got kicked. They did not read the message and after rejoining they are insulting the admins. And the only a ban is working.

We had got players they insult admins and they got banned. They registered in the forum and asked we have I done, we told them and they said no, not me, we showed them the log file, they said ok, but it was only a joke an so on. What did you think to do with such players, who are not able to follow rules and are not able to read?
