I dont blame your lack of playing time on lack of patches, rather on the earths rotation.

go in the coop section in the menu. These server allow you to play with bot and other player. But dont forget that the main interest of pr is on the server with real players. When you got it to work with mumble you gonna find that their no other game who allow you to have this kind of realistic pvp experience. No other unfortunatly :(

Right now there is 4 full servers, one of them american, VBIOS is nearly full at 50ish players, and another american is getting to decent numbers with 25 or so players.

I dont see where you all get the impression that pr is dying? I rarely have problems joining for a game, and that is when i want to play at like 6 am PRT, lol.

EDIT: and even then there are populated chinese, far east russian or australian servers, its just that the ping is too high for me.

Mrslobodan, in case you have missed it, there is a good tool to see whether servers are populated:

Project Reality - PRSPY - Server and player browser and tracker - Create a buddy list - Launch PR directly

(there is a button to it on the top of the page, too ^)

Right now is not the US prime time for gaming, most people in the US still have yet to get off of work. As I said in my post, PR is usually dead during the US play times. During US hours there is at most one server full, and sometimes not even one. Seems to be an issue during NZ hours as well based on what Risegold said.

And mumble is pretty much now a must, every US server and most other servers now require it. If you can't get it to work, US servers aren't an option so you are shit outta luck. If you are playing insurgency as US, for the love of all that is good don't take a scoped rifleman kit unless you know what you are doing. The enemy (multiplayer only) can pick the rifleman kits up and use them against your team, usually quite effectively. If the aimpoint isn't your thing, grab a marksman or grenadier.

Thanks for the help guys! One more question, If I apply and get the server license, do you know if it's possible that way to start internet server with bots(Co-op over internet)? Got a friend I really want to play this game with, and it would be really nice if I can create online servers with bots. Btw anybody knows If there are any requirements to get server license? Like you need to be active, or you need to be friend with devs/mods or something ? And do you think, if it's hard to get the license, that it would help to donate some money to PR ?

You could most likely create a server via lan over hamachi, saves you having to get a server license just to play bots with your friends

Using "Local Servers" with Hamachi or Evolve is probably the way you are looking for.
I have already tried it out, your friend only got to connect "over ip", because your server won't show up at the browser. At both programs you can "copy ipv4" easily by rightclicking on your friends name.
