Vietcong could have a host of older weaponry like ppsh41, pps-43, DP28, mat-47, mosin nagant and arisaka among newer weapons like ak-47/type 56/AKM, RPD and sks/chinese equivalent while the focus with the NVA could be wholly on the last.

No, but takes time. I'd rather have a few more maps and then think about adding ARVN and VC.

South Vietnam was given a large number of American WWII-era weapons earlier in the war. M1 Garands, M1/M2 carbines (which were supposedly quite popular in the ARVN), Thompsons, Grease Guns, etc.

Also, a good excuse to add the M41 Walker Bulldog light tank eventually.

Insurgency would also make alot of sense if the vietcong would be added. Would offer some nice new gameplay, also you could give the vietcong improvised explosive devices like grenade traps and other small explosives.
You wouldn't really need any new weapons, just new skins, maps and maybe a vehicle. I'm not sure though if the vietcong used any other vehicle than a bike or small boat.
