Android & Spotify

Post by saXoni »

Don't really know how much help I can get from you guys when it comes to cellphones and Android, but it's worth a shot!

Rooted my cellphone (LG GX2) and installed the Cyanogen mod. All the stuff I had on the cellphone previously is gone which means I had to install and synchronize/download Spotify and my playlists.

Before I rooted my phone and installed the Cyanogen mod I had no issues with the synchronization, but now there's apparently not enough space left on my device to download all the songs. "Offline syncing has stopped as there's no space left on this device".

I have 312MB left of space on my SD-card, and 1,31GB left on the internal memory card, so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I've tried finding an option of where I choose how much space Spotify is allowed to use without any luck.

Do anyone here know how to fix this, is it even fixable?

Thanks,
saX.

Hey, glad to hear you switched to cyanogenmod, its great. I've been using it since v7.
Actually never heard of an issue with spotify and CM.
Have you tried clearing app data like on that screen?

Thanks for your reply. I have tried that, didn't work. It says "Data: 8,00kB", doesn't that seem very little considering I've downloaded around 100 songs?

Also, which Cyanogenmod version are you using? Where did you get it?

I'm using CM10 on my GalaxyS3 and downloaded it officially via get.cm.
I pretty much keep me on the latest nightly using the internal updater.
Unfortunately I can't test spotify on it as it would require a subscription.

Okay thanks. Just bought a new micro SD (8GB) to see if that's actually the problem.

Feel free to lock or delete the thread, my Micro SD was the issue.

Thanks for your help BloodyDeed.
