Best Anti Virus system

Post by Rabbit »

Well its time from me to update my Anti Virus system again. I had McAfee, it was ok, not like AVG used to be a decade ago. I was wondering if there are any less well known Protection like AVG used to be that would stop everything.

I've heard good things eset as it gets a lot and it hides in the background very well , anyone have any recommendations?

For an install and forget kind of thing I suggest Microsoft Security Essentials. If you want a lot of fine control then go with Avast! (yes, the ! is part of the name ;) ). They both perform similarly well and are very low profile in terms of memory usage.

I just use AVG. Pay for it and it's good on 3 computers, so it's worth it to me.

I only use microsoft security essentials. I would probably pay for something better if I had money and a income.

I would probably buy panda security.

I use Vipre, its damn cheap and is a very resource light scanner. I have never noticed it run, yet it gives me stats of its latest scans. Love it, and as I said, very cheap... I got it for 1 PC for a lifetime(yes no yearly charge) for ?8. I recommend Amazon for it, not their actual site. Somehow someone selling it on Amazon has rediculous deals as the one above... Also can get 5 PC's for a year for ?13, so protect you and your friends, and just chip in if you don't want it for a lifetime.

The best anti virus system is a mac computer.

And did u know Mr Mc Afee is on murder charges. Don't be surprised if he hired programmers to design viruses as well. Don't download any anti virus program, just use windows defender. Windows 7 and 8 already come with mac features now such as the ask for your permission any time a non microsoft program wants to do anything in case its trying to fuck you in the *** when you turn your back to it.

That statement alone almost made me vomit.

Avira is the best anti-virus software for me. I used Avast for a while it slowed my computer down a lot!

NOD32 seems to be the best one.

Never seems to miss anything, had no virus or malware problems for the last 5 years I've been using it.

And its got a small footprint, unlike Norton
