Ive got this problem too. PB kicks me as soon as the map loads. Are you also using the steam version of BF2? Idk if that has anything to do with it or not.

Run game in Full Screen mode, you wont get kicked.

Right Click on PR Icon, and at the target box:

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 2 Complete Collection\mods\pr\pr.exe"
[Your directory will/may differ]

Put these two in : +restart +fullscreen 0

So it looks like

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 2 Complete Collection\mods\pr\pr.exe" +restart +fullscreen 0
+ restart = No splash screen
+ fullscreen 0 = windowed mode.

why would it kick in windowed mode ? i cant go back to fullscreen :(

For example, ground is transparent to me when running windowed mode with this.

It doesn't kick in windowed mode. If you want to go back to fullscreen, just remove the + fullscreen 0.

i have 2 bugs running in windowed mode gives me transparent ground and i cant use zoom optics because when I do it's all black

thats an nvidia bug, you have to reduce your resolution a few pixels, for example i play in 1920*1080 but in the launcher i use +szx 1920 +szy 1060 and then the ground is no longer transparant, its a retarded nvidia driver isseu :(

i use shiftwindow to expand it again and to fit my screen

I always thought ground transparency was a Windows Aero bug, common to all cards, could be wrong. I had the same issue running the basic game on my previous card a HD5870 as I had the Aero interface fully enabled. Might be worth switching to the Windows Basic Colour scheme as a test as it fixed it for me.

i run it with 100 fps. i have a GTX 570, so the light is green for you too ;)

I'm guessing you're like me and have Nvidia Optimus deciding when to use the high power gpu and when to use the low integrated graphics. (I have 580m)
Optimus usually refuses to run Enb's on anything other than the integrated graphics - resulting in very poor frame rate. Some Enb's have an 'injector' version that fixes this problem.
Project Reality's Enb is run from an older Half Life 2 Enb engine which doesn't have this problem at all. So yes, no reason a 650m couldn't run this. (My 580m runs highest setting + Enb at about 30-90 fps, averaging about 70)

A 650m is a notebook card. Not nearly as powerful as a 570 desktop card.
