I also crash when loading a map finished. Will be Fraps (fps) & MSI Afterburner (data) overlay causing the issue I guess...

I have absolutely no problem with fraps ,however you can try THIS fix for MSI afterburner !

I don't like it, everything has way too much contrash and saturation, dark areas are too dark, noticed no difference in aa, infact I think it goes worse. now i gotta uninstall this ****.

I like how you honor him for his work. He is trying to improve PR for all of us. If you don't like it it's totally fine. BUT you don't need to be a ***** about it. Give some constructive feedback.

oh so because I said "****" everything before that is suddenly no constructive? It's **** because 1. it looks like a bad photoshop filter and there is no proper installer/unstaller. 2. the shift + f12 does not turn it off for me. 3. it looks like original files were overwritten that he did not bother to let us know to back them up. I might be wrong but the dates on the files are from 2008 not 2013.

don't get so personal because of one word, put a manpon in it.

No it's not about the word "****". It's about the whole way you form your sentences. As an american I can assume that you are able to use a good tone in your sentences, more than people that does not speak english as their motherlanguage. But instead you sound like a 12 year old that didn't get his coke to breakfast.

To disprove your points and show your own mistakes:

1. It's okay, your personal opinion. But constructive feedback is more than just 2 lines. Tell him the flaws and maybe tell him on what he should improve. To the installer/"unstaller" part. It's WIP. Work in progress. Also there is no reason to have a uninstaller for 6 (in word six!) files.

2. I remember he never said shift-f12 will deactivate it. But I do remember that he said it will activate/deactivate certain features.

3. NO, you sir are wrong. The zip contains 6 files. 3 of them being libaries (.dll) and there for the only one that could override a existing game file.
- d3d9.dll
- d3dx9_26.dll
- d3dx9_40.dll

BF2 does not contain any of these. It's using other version of said libaries.
- d3dx9_24.dll
- d3dx9_25.dll

Maybe you deleted those because comparing words to eachother is not your strength.

4. The dates: I checked, just 1 file is from 2008, one from 2005. All the others are from 2013. So don't subtle imply he is not doing any work on it.

Please check your facts before hand.

I encourage you to get out of Germany and come visit South Philly sometime and culture yourself on the many different ways that sentences can be constructed. I don't have time for all this bro. Your way too anal.

I understand it's a work in progress. **** is a way to express frustration that I have to delete files individually after figuring out which ones they are by pretending to unzip the files and remembering the 6 files they are. It's nothing to get upset about.

Shift+F12 seemed to have no affect at all.

I said I could be wrong.

Yes one is from 2008, I'm not implying anything, your assuming. *** of U and ME.

I'll do my part to bring this topic back online. This did not work for me. By ENB effects what do you mean? Is there a reason this did not work? Is there something I can do to fix that?

The right side shift key + F12 worked for me.

If you don't need to post anything constructive or helpful, why post in the first place? So what if some guy insults for your actions, learn from your mistakes and move on. The more you retaliate, the more pissed off you'll be, and the longer the argument will continue.

I guess both Vicious and WeedKiller made mistakes on their parts, Vicious shouldn't have posted a unhelpful comment in the first place, and Weedkiller shouldn't have insulted Vicious for his actions. I guess the two of you should just shake hands and seek a peaceful resolution to this silly argument.

First of all thank you for your feedback ! I think I really need to explain some stuffs here :
_I didn't made this version of ENB , I just made this Preset so now this ENB can be used with this game ! Boris Vorontsov is the developer of all ENBseries out there ! actually I asked him to make a special version for BF2 or at least fix the Alt+Tab crash problem a couple of month ago (in here) ,but he said he don't have time for it ! he probably can make SSAO , detailed shadows and motion blur works in this game too , like what he did in GTA:SA ! maybe we can convince him to do it by some donations or something ! I'm sure it is possible !!
_About the contrast , saturation and dark areas (gamma) , I already modified all of them alongside some other stuff in my new preset ! I'll release it when the new Palette texture is ready ! also I may add SMAA to it for more powerful graphic cards ! it's need more testing tho !
_and about the Installer I definitely going to do it after fixing the Alt+Tab problem ! right now I'm using RCE method (because I don't have the source code of the program) and that is a really time consuming task !
So just be patient and if you don't like testing beta versions , wait for a proper bug free release !!!

Your welcome SAM, keep up the good work! My critism while harsh was meant to improve. I took a screenshot using the mod but the effects don't seem to show up in the screenshot. Does that make sense?

This ENB is WIP. SAM actively working to make it stable, immersive and useful.

The slightest thing would be to understand that using this addition makes you Beta testers. So if something does not suit you, grieve you or could simply be improved, thank you to trace information with a minimum of courtesy.

I don't want to see this thread closed because of childish behaviour. :39_poscom

Honestly, this forum has too many vigilante moderators. Just report the post and move on with your life. But, understand not everything has to be praise or sugar coated for it to be a fair comment. If you sense someone is unhappy in a post, don't keep poking them until they react badly. This isn't youtube.

While I'm personally not interested in this change, I respect the work SAM is doing to improve a game he's not even a developer for. Maybe down the line when all the bugs are worked out I will give it a shot. My main hesitation at this point is putting myself into the position of being at a disadvantage. I already have a hard time seeing during night maps, making the darker darker sounds bad.

Using this ENB will help you to see better at Night, once you are rid off the terrible BF2's yellow-brown filter. Night/ thermal vision is also improved.

SAM is working on a 3.0 and what i've tested yesterday is really better in all ways, even for a matter of comfort. Stay tune for more info ! :)
