The pics look great ! I am planning an ambush at Mr. Quai's farm very soon.
If you are going to do the US, what about the Aluetian islands ?
you have US territory close enough for China to invade and nobody's ever played on that territory before.when snow suits become available it's perfect. until then it's summer.
You can have large decrepit bases from WWII, borrow some statics from FH2 and have the new midway battle, Alaska style !

And 4, it is just plain unlikely. The US is surrounded by water, and is a large area. If anyone could actually come on our soil, their supply lines, reinforcements, and capabilities would be limited. The same with Europe. It is more likely that we would attack them on their home front.Griffon2-6 wrote:It's hard to do US and Europe because 1. The cities are huge, 2. There are no statics tailored for the US or Europe, and 3. Some people get offended if their city is modelled incorrectly.

'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino']theres 1 big performance prob i see....
your grass, at the moment you are useing the grass bush mesh for all of your grass, this mesh is ment for the odd tuft of grass sticking out of shorter grass, not for all of the grass around.
you should try to exsperimant with the hexigan meshes abit more, you will find they work much better and you can add, small grass bushes now and again in with them, this will increase the performance and also look better.
also at the mo looks like you have your textures set to defult, desert, change them to woodland unless you want jeeps and tanks running round with desert cammos on
apart from that its comming along nicely, nice system you have too
I Agree. The ground somehow looks plain and too uhh...symmetrical. But great work if i made a map it would like sh*t on a stick...crappy sh*t on a crooked stick. So keep up the good work i cant wait to play!!

No, that is untrue, as China and the Middle East is in the same position. No countries allied with the US directly border the PRC. Therefore, it'd be just as easy for China to attack the US or Europe as it is for the US or Europe to attack China. You can say there are bases in Japan, but think about it, how long will Japan last? If it gets surrounded by naval forces, which is pretty easy to do, it's pretty much screwed, as there is no way of obtaining extra resources within the nation, and there is no way in once it gets surrounded.00SoldierofFortune00 wrote:And 4, it is just plain unlikely. Yeah, but just the island with the base would be quite easy to surround. Plus, a patrol should cover it right? A naval patrol, complemented by an aerial patrol would be close to inpenetrable.
All they need is to destroy the base. After that, they'll say "Thank you, bye bye! If you let us leave in one piece, we won't nuke you!"
