I'm having problems when playing PR. My screen hangs up for a second or two and I get a weird Brzzzt sound in my headphones. This started with planetside 2 and now it's affecting all of my other games, and I can't even watch youtube videos now without it occuring.
My specs
i5-2400
Zotac GTX 680
8 gigs ram
Asrock Z68 mobo
64gb SSD boot drive
1tb storage drive
600w Gold PSU
2560x1440 korean noname IPS display
nothing has been overclocked or modified in anyway
I'm hoping it's not a dead gpu.

Re: BRZZT sound and screen hangup everytime I play
This could be one of many things... or a combination, so I suggest you start doing some isolation testing on the primary components.
Stress test:
- CPU
- RAM
- GPU
Then do a combo test of the above to check if it's the PSU's rail(s) dying or whatever.
After that the testing becomes a big PITA because you have to narrow down if it's a software issue (unlikely), or which of the remaining physical components is causing the issue.

Re: BRZZT sound and screen hangup everytime I play
EDIT: tr the first 2 suggestions first:
reseat your GPU. make sure the pcie power cable(s) is connected properly.
If you have a way to playback audio over HDMI (HDMI TV, monitor with speakers, sound system) , try that to test.
Check to make sure you don't have phantom audio playback devices.
If your PC has a two mic jacks, and you are not using the rear panel audio out jack, use that to test.
Also you can try the line out jack (usually blue color jack), and try that too.
Often the cheap mic jacks in PC Cases are the first thing to go, do to wear and tear.
use treexy's driverfusion to completely uninstall your NVIDIA drivers.
reboot.
download stable drives from NVIDIA.
(Optionally) When installing, use the "Clean install" option to revert all custom settings to default.
Update Flash.
Can you playback a local video file without this happening?
