BF2 , AiX2 Freeze after loading level

Hello all
when i start a sp round it freezes on loading level with the mouse pointer turning around as usual, the join button dont appear to enter the level . i tried pr and it works . only vbf2 and aix does that
any help is very very much appreciated

What antivirus do you have? Make sure there is an exception for PRLauncher.exe and PRBF2.exe in your antivirus.

Are you running any third party overlays, such as OVERWOLF, TS3 overlay, Steam community overlay, etc? Turn off your overlays completely.

i have bitdefender , the problem is not with pr ,its vbf2 . pr works great
and no im not running any overlays
i made an exception for BF2.exe but still not working

I've never played AIX, and rarely play vanilla BF2,
I'm not sure what the problem could be,
if PR works online, I don't see how vanilla BF2 singleplayer can be a problem....

Try
1. creating a new vanllla BF2 offline account., see if it's just a profile issue.
2. clear your vanilla BF2 shader cache.
