Second Sino-Japanese War

Post by KuronoX »

National Revolutionary Army (NRA) vs Imperial Japanese Army (IJA)

How bout it? I think it would be interesting.

It would be unique among most ww2 shooters, but a lot of work as pretty much everything would have to be made from scratch.

Yeah, it's interesting, but not really going to happen I'm afraid...

When I was working with Iwo Jima I thought of expanding it by doing a Manchuria map right after. The russians fighting the japanese. But making the japanese faction is a struggle to come up with. It would be made out of 2 unique weapons and everything else a PH. Hence why I scrapped the level (and the respective theater).

I understand the enthusiasm that goes along with the inherent potential of portraying epic conflicts of WW2. We have multiple russian assets. Even more so than german ones. However, have in mind that it's very hard to keep up with the PR standards animations wise and we're not flooding with active animators in BF2, therefore we need to focus one theater at a time. Expect nothing but the western front for the time being.

Yes. It is really unique.
So far , many western people dont know the importance of the Second Sino-Japanese War. If you successfully make some maps ,it will be a great breakthrough :-P
