Unless there is a question involved, move that discussion to another thread.

Would it be possible to add the Ka-50/52 to the game? And would anybody ever make it? Are there realism reasons it hasn't been added yet? (like being rare and the Mi-28 being more common)

The Akula is only used by the russian Air Force and the naval aviation, so i don't think it would be realistic if it would support the regular army ground units (correct me if i'm mistaken). Maybe if Russia gets it's own Marines in PR?

just seems like a misappropriation of effort to make something rare when there's still plenty of scope for more common assets

of course sometimes we've done that, often because a modeller had a passion for something that isn't particularly common, but for now the Russians are NOT lacking from a selection of combat helicopters

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 - (Russian: Микоян и Гуревич МиГ-21; NATO reporting name: Fishbed) is a supersonic jet fighter aircraft, designed by the Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau in the Soviet Union. It was popularly nicknamed "Balalaika", from the aircraft's planform-view resemblance to the Russian stringed musical instrument or oł?wek (English: pencil) by Polish pilots due to the shape of its fuselage.

Early versions are considered second-generation jet fighters, while later versions are considered to be third-generation jet fighters. Approximately 60 countries over four continents have flown the MiG-21, and it still serves many nations a half-century after its maiden flight. The fighter made aviation records. At least by name, it is the most-produced supersonic jet aircraft in aviation history and the most-produced combat aircraft since the Korean War, and it had the longest production run of a combat aircraft (1959 to 1985 over all variants).
