Project Reality on Wineskin

Hi everyone! So my desktop just recently bit the dust so I can't play PR on there anymore, but I have a macbook and was wondering if Project Reality would work with Wineskin?

PR does not work on WINE or any variant of WINE.

So there is no way I can get this to work on Mac?

At this time you can create a VM, which is not a good idea for performance on a macbook, or go for Bootcamp.

Hey, I'm an avid user of PR1.3.5, playing on my Acer Aspire which is a solid enough platform. However, with the release of the update in November it clearly states on the system requirements on the Standalone Download 'No requirements'. I therefore thought that PR had become OS compatible and recommended it to my brother, a Mac user... I Know horrendous as it sounds he does attempt to game on that platform. However, he now has himself in a bit of a mess. Is VM or bootcamp the only option? If not could he burn the file he downloaded off torrent to a disc? would that be possible?

Either way if this isn't possible it may be a good idea to make the details of the download more clear
