Small point. Why is DPM still in game for British Woodland?

That winky face has me intrigued.

I'd have thought that the current MTP would have sufficed until a woodland weathered MTP skin was created.

Yeah, Can just use the Woodland kits and helmets with the actual soldier model being MTP, would make more sense for now IMO.

It makes no sense for AKM/74 to have much side-to-side recoil; it was quite obvious that AK-"47"(I have fired a 7.62 AK without muzzle brake, which is pretty close) had rightside bias to recoil(why AKM slant brake directing gas up/right), but muzzle brake took away most of that.
TBH I have no idea, but nor have I really looked into it as from the beginning I have felt the c8?c7? whatever it is and the ak74 were the best firearms ingame. Looking through other recoil settings it probably can be bumped down a bit but that is lower priority in terms of immediate fixes.

Bumping down sounds good

I'm surprised to hear you lump the 74 and c7 together. I always thought the c7 was superior in almost every respect (high rof, really tight spread, both scope and good backup sights).

Is the PR team still going strong, or are they gearing up for Squad? I was thinking about reinstalling BF2 editor to make some Vietnam maps.

PR team is very much going strong, I still work with squad in a very limited sense and most of my time and effort still goes to pr.

PR Team is still very strong and many devs including myself are planning to stick around for some releases yet as we have lots of stuff we want to do before we move on and the success of v1.3 has only strengthened our resolve to keep on working on PR:BF2 :D

devs, is there a reason why we can only play up to 96 bots without balance issues ?
i would love to play with 255 bots but after 96 the teams are not accurate.

In fact, we even got a couple of promotions a little while ago (people that went R-CON, R-DEV or dark blue R-DEV). All in all we're doing great :) .

Are any of the Eve of Destruction 2 maps available for editing?

Yep. But it's hard to find one that can support PR's gameplay.
