Notes:
We do not have a PR 1.3 server, but we have members already playing PR 1.3 and are getting a Squad server upon release.
We are a unit that strives on providing a perfection environment, in which we encourage self development, maturity and over all the creation of an enjoyable, educating environment.
This being said we may cut a corner here or there to keep the health of the 38th ID in the best state possible in regards to realistic portrayal, these circumstances are far and few in occurrence, but take place with heavy deliberation by the Command Staff.
We are a Military Simulation unit, and with that comes discipline, integrity, honor, and respect for the armed forces around the world, as well as the virtual projects that have made ArmA 3 such an enjoyable community to be involved in.
We have a good amount of veterans and even from different countries in the unit, and they share their experience and expertise and are a great asset to the team, we appreciate any veteran wanting to join our unit and be apart of something great and that will go forth and do great things for its own community, and to others around it.
We take unit vs. unit requests as well as Co-Op requests.
Official Trainings and Operations are usually taking place during the weekend evenings (Eastern Standard Time) and are always posted on the calendar.
We are currently striving to gain members for our third platoon for PR 1.3 for now and then as stated, Squad upon release. The way our structure works is, right now we are at Company level with an Aviation Brigade for ArmA 3 (Aviation for ArmA 3 only currently). We have 3 Platoons for two games, Arma 3 and PR 1.3/Squad. First and Second Platoon are for Arma 3, they consist of PL HQ and then 3 Squads and then an MG Squad. Our Third Platoon is for PR 1.3/Squad, it consists of a PL HQ and then 2 squads.
What this means is, you can enlist for PR 1.3/Squad and gain promotion points, awards, and go up the Chain of Command for PR 1.3/Squad and still play ArmA 3 with your friends or just to get involved with the ArmA 3 Platoons. You can only gain awards and such with your game. You can always transfer if you want as well as transfer your MOS for example Infantry to Aviation.
As this is a milsim unit for ArmA 3 and PR 1.3/Squad, the training and gameplay mechanics are obviously different since you cant do things in ArmA 3 that you can do in PR 1.3/Squad so have no worry, we are squared away and will make sure you are at the top of your game when you join us.
We have allies across the globe, and will be doing joint operations as well as our private ones, so whether you like playing with loads of people fighting together in a single mission, or you like a unit operation, it?s all laid out to be for the members.
We?re different compared to most unit?s in the current generation of ArmA 3 and PR 1.3/Squad in the aspect that we are a ?Developement before activation? unit, or a unit that formed a full training system, education system, and policies and procedures before opening our doors to the ArmA 3 and PR 1.3/Squad community to ensure the very best unit for those that dedicate their time, and loyalty to the 38th ID. We are based out of the ?War on Terror? era as the set standard of ArmA Military Simulation originally is and PR 1.3/Squads game modes. We try our best to replicate Infantry kits in ArmA 3 as accurately as possible as well as use of formations and SOPs.
Little bit more information before getting down to business, we are as stated, at Company level. Once we fill out Third Platoon along with our other two Platoons for ArmA 3, we will expand and have Bravo Company purely for PR 1.3/Squad and Alpha Company purely for ArmA 3 and our current Company Command staff will move up to Battalion level.
One last thing, when Squad does release, we won't be supporting awards or anything towards PR 1.3, we're purely for Squad but we do play PR 1.3 for right now.
We are looking for people who can:
Be Mature.
Be 17+
Know the Basics of ArmA 3 and PR 1.3/Squad when releases (We have a staffed team of training officials, and instructors that will prepare you, and teach you the basics required to operate effectively within your choosen MOS.)
Be able to speak, be understood and understand English.
Have or plan on getting a working microphone.
Have a Working ArmA 3, PR 1.3/Squad soon.
Not be BattleEye Banned.
Have a working copy of TeamSpeak 3.
Commit to the 38th Infantry Division.
Be Respectful, and Honorable.
