And now a question regarding all devs, what do you consider your personal greatest thing you have added to PR over the years, what you think would today be missed if you didn't do that. Something that makes you feel special and proudly say you contributed to making PR and actual thing.

I would guess 1 got that title by..being drunk and fighting whilst screaming " fuk you CAS". Only speculation.

Damn But do they (=entering hideout) serve any real purpose nowadays? Because I haven't found any.[R-DEV]Rabbit wrote:IIRC back in the day there were tunnels and you could quickly move between hideouts.

Any chance the IDF will finally get some attention in the next update?

Always possible, but It's important to be realistic. The IDF comfac team have all moved on from PR as far as I'm aware, it's quite difficult to continue development on such a huge number of assets when their originators no longer contribute. Each additional team in PR is a drain on resources, without the original comfac team that drain is passed onto the core PR team; which means things will happen slower.gipakok wrote:Any chance the IDF will finally get some attention in the next update?

Is there anything the mods on the forum can do about the recent onslaught of spambots on the forum?
[R-DEV]Ninja2dan: Not having a spotter is like masturbating with a cheese grater...mildly amusing at first, but generally painful and bloody in the end.
Thornehaw: If all this have been evidently true, Battlefield is a much scarier and dirtier than ever imagined. Not a conspiracy, but a possibility. If it is true, then trusting another is quite worrisome.

Do you plan on making illumination flares more widely used in the future? As far as I know, right now they can only be found on two maps, yet there are around 7 night maps/layers.

Hi, any plans to bring back the night muzzle flashes? Night layers aren't fun at all anymore, when they use to be (at least for me off course) the best thing I have seen in this game.

We haven't solved the CTD issue yet that people were having so they aren't expected to come back until that is fixed.

Re: Ask the [DEV]s a (?) - Part 2
First I thought Wanda Shan (lol), then Saaremaa, then maybe v0.9 SP support or the main base on Karbala, but then I remembered that when [R-DEV]eggman requested a new avatar in public forums back in 2007, I linked the generic picture of an egg that a former R-MOD then used to make the avatar for him.LiamNL wrote:And now a question regarding all devs, what do you consider your personal greatest thing you have added to PR over the years, what you think would today be missed if you didn't do that. I was wondering who made Saaremaa because I love that map. It's great for infantry and it allows for all kinds of strategies because there's so much cover and room to maneuver. I would say it's a greater accomplishment than the egg thing ; )

I'll keep my eyes peeled on this one and start playing as soon as v1.3.5 and v1.4 have been released.[R-DEV]Mineral wrote:..our next release is v1.3.5 not v1.4...
