Went to play today and got this error. Looked up a few posts and solutions but nothing has worked. Anyone got a hot fix?
Win 7 ultimate
Yesterday I did run a adware / junk removed program , didn't play PR after that but I did notice this morning I had to turn my internet adapter back on , not sure if this is related or not.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2533454
Select "Prefer IPv4 over IPv6" from the link, and run the setup, then restart your PC when it asks you to do so.
How it works:
Windows 8 prefers IPv6 over the IPv4 by default. If you make it prefer IPv4 over the other, PR will launch without any problem, and you will still be able to view sites that use IPv6.
Tried this , still didn't work.

Re: Need help
I dont see you saying what error was exactly.
I have disabled everything on my adapter, except IPv4 and I have no issues.
If you have connectivity issues, try to test your network and see if there is abnormal activity or your NIC failing. Turn off all background processes and try again testing.
If you cant connect at all your firewall might be blocking the process from acessing PR mstr server or you IP range was banned, in which case you would need to contact PR administration. There was a way to test connectivity to PR master and mumble server but I cant remmeber it.
Litoralis.nmd might have better information on this or AfterDune.

Re: Need help

You have to ask yourself " is the juice worth the squeeze" ?
