Would be great if we could get two DUKW's at Omaha as more Logistics with heavy crates on them, would go a long way to helping the American push in land after capturing the beach instead of having logistics trucks.
The DUKW in all it's might and glory.

Re: DUKW?
Might not be too terribly hard to make a shell to go around the current trucks. I've thought about it in the past but had other stuff I had to do. I know they used them a lot in the Pacific, and I'm sure they used em a bit in Normandy but to what extent I'm not sure.
Currently when you capture the bluffs the LSMs will spawn with logis and transport trucks though, not to mention the logistics LCVPs, so at least for the time being there means to build FOBs further inland.

Re: DUKW?
Would be nice to have for sure
Slightly off-topic but it could also be used in PR:Falklands a a Place Holder for the LARC-V which the Argies used during their initial invasion of the Falklands, but as such it would only be usable on the Skrimish 32 layer which represents that, along with the LVTP-7

Re: DUKW?
They were used heavily in the US Army Rangers assault on point to huc carrying rope launchers and ladders to scale the cliffs and some were redirected to omaha during D-Day aswell so continuity would not be a problem and it would be nice to have a trans and logi for the US before the WN flags come up also it has a 50.cal mounted on it sometimes so it could help with supression.[R-DEV]Ratface wrote:Might not be too terribly hard to make a shell to go around the current trucks.
