PR "Blackingout" after install

After I downloaded & installed the standalone game, I made sure I turned down the graphics, but it just freezes. I tried looking around on the forum to see if anyone had the same kind of problem, but I couldn't see a very clear one. I tried running it with an offline profile but it didn't work.

At what point does it freeze?

Right after I press play in the launcher. I tried re-installing it and now it just crashes and gives me error 1103.

I'm not an expert but when I last installed I needed to run this microsoft DirectX installer. Although i was under the impression that it was on the launcher now

Try and switch down your graphics right down to 800x600 both in your computers video settings and the in launcher graphics options. As your processor is not ideal (but economic) at 1.3Ghz also with your on die graphics in high action areas it wont be fun but it should run I managed to get it running on a old on die intel but unplayable FPS.

Thank You. I re-tried after realizing that DirectX wasn't downloading in the setup. I have yet to try your recommendation, but the game at least runs at 10 - 20 frames per second. So I will try lowering the resolution and re-lowering the textures and report back.
