Yep, no solution so far. Swampfox has a work around but not a 100% fix. theres been like 5 other post about this in the past 12 hours. Its most likely a server side issue effecting NA, SA and some people in Asia. just give it time.

THANK YOU FOR THE INFO:

NOTE: ALL START WHEN THE GAME SOUND WAS GONE, AND I CAN ONLY HEAR THE PEOPLE ON MUMBLE.

SO I START TO PLAY WITH ALL THE SETTINGS AND NOTHING...

THEN I UNINSTALL THE GAME AND INSTALL 2 TIMES AND DOWNLOADED IN 2 DIFFERENT WEB PAGES ONE IN PRTA AND THE OTHER ONE AND... NOTHING

THE FUNNY PART ITS WHERE YOU PUT THE CLAN NAME EXAMPLE: = LAG= AND THEN YOU CLICK IN YOUR USERNAME. I PUT THE CLAN NAME AND ERROR CODE CAME OUT. 1004 OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. AND THEN I TOOK OFF THE NAME CLAN.... AND THE GAME START AND THEN SHOOTS DOWN... SO I DO NOT KNOW .... WHAT ITS GOING ON.

THANK YOU FOR THE QUICK RESPONSE...

Ive been on here all day looking for a solution. The EU and mainland Asia are working fine. Its frustrating but all we can really do is hope the Devs are on this.

Its all server side. Some one suggested the legit IPs are being blocked because of the DDOSing that occurred recently. But I havent seen any word from the devs. Swampfox and few others made a PR2 launcher shortcut on there desktops and edited the command line by adding "+ Join (insert server IP here)" they could bypass the main menu but some people still had it crashing. I tried it and my launcher would just give an error and close.
