Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
You know, I installed PR again 4 months ago just for PRWW2. I want to know will it be released 1 or 2 months later or it will come 1 year later ( as always
)?

I don't have to be a Dev to be able to answer this question.
''when it's done''
but my gut tells me somewhere in the summer we'll be seeing PR 1.4 with Falklands and WW2

Well Falklands is confirmed for 1.4 but WW2 has not been confirmed for anything yet.

98% Not going to be with 1.4, but it should follow shortly after.

Current factions are the same, US Army and German Wehrmact.
Hard to tell if it will expand beyond that in a decent time frame given our current strength.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
In the future, will there be additions to having maps set in Africa with the German Afrika Korps and The British Army? I assume there will be, just want to make sure.
Another question, will there be a mapping subforum for the PR:WW2 side of the forum with the guidelines that should be followed in terms of assets and such? And what should the mappers focus on or the people who want to contribute?
Cheers.

No, no plans for Afrika Korps or British Army. Not by us at least. Others can feel free to come in once it has been added to the main mod and go from there.
As far as mapping goes it's really not too different from the restrictions in the main game. You could really do whatever you want, though staying true to realism with what assets were available during a specific battle is usually the best way to go if they're available.

I'm by means no accomplished mapper so bear with me here now, is there a modified version that you lads use for the WW2 mod in terms of the editor, or is it all basically just the vehicles that are in the object spawner list? If so I can do that myself.
I'm hopefully going to focus on the Falaise Pocket, mostly the US side of it.

The Falaise Pocket was a joint operation with the british army and the canadians if I my memory is as good as I think it is and PR:WW2 currently don't have British Forces or Anglo-Canadian forces.agus92 wrote:Falaise sound excellent, but what do you refer to when you say "the US side of it"?

Do you plan to enter the game the Germans alternative fraction SS , as was done in the PR : the US army and the US marines ? or if it is difficult to introduce several types of clothing existing fraction with SS camouflage robe and helmet ?
