PRT Campaign 11: Final SITREP #11 - WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello PRT Community!

The last battle of the Project Reality Tournament Campaign 11 has been played, bringing a close to the campaign. Both teams engaged in a fierce combined arms battle on Khamisiyah, but PDI took the initiative and forced back MRF's strong early aggression to ultimately take the win, bringing the final score to 15-9. Congratulations to the Pacific Defense Initiative!

During these eight months, both teams have won and lost countless battles through their ups and downs, have lost and gained many team members and trained hard to come out victorious. The results of the individual battles are given below.

The PRT Staff would especially like to thank [PR]PDI|Danger_6 and [PR]MRF|Cossack for their great sportsmanship and dedication to the campaign. Both were open to discussion on balance and were willing to give and take to improve the intensity, balance and overall experience. Even if it sometimes meant a disadvantage, they picked maps, let go of assets or decided other aspects of the game together just for the sake of the campaign.

After all, for most of us, Project Reality is about having fun first and foremost and all of you made it possible - thank you!

After every PRT Campaign, the Administration establishes a Task Force to discuss the future of the PRT with selected individuals from both PRT Teams and the PRT Community as a whole. Within the next couple of weeks we will send out invitations to people who we think have the experience or skills to help preparing and running C12. If you do not get invited but feel like you still want to contribute to build up the next campaign, then feel free to contact the current PRT Administration.

At this point a C12 is not confirmed, it all depends on finding new willing and dedicated staff members. So your support is needed and its up to the PRT community to step up and help working on it.

The Project Reality Tournament Campaign 11 is over - but Project Reality is still very much alive. The players of the tournament can use the experience they gathered and especially all their new buddies and friends to play Project Reality on public servers and spread the spirit and teamwork that the tournament stands for. Every PRT Member is of course allowed to keep wearing their [PR]PDI| and [PR]MRF| tags proudly.


We would like to thank the community for their support and especially all members for their continued dedication and activity in battle-planning, trainings and battles.

Special thanks to [R-DEV]BloodyDeed and [T-CON]Blip for providing the tournament with free battle and teamspeak servers! We extend our great gratitude to Zrix who provided the campaign with a backup battle server when the others had problems. Also thanks to retired [T-ADM]TomNedry for extending the SignUp, Event Management and Team Roster System and [T-CON]Aleon & [T-ADM]Turista for developing the interactive campaign operations board for the PRT Website!

And finally, thanks to the Project Reality Development and Management Team in their technical and spiritual support, making the campaign possible, as well as with providing the admin team with great tools to monitor the battles.
