British Jeep
Why is the British Jeep so stiff? Even on Operation Marlin in the open flat(ish) desert the jeep can't cross the map without losing half it's health. Is there a reason for this sluggish suspension or can something be done about it?

Re: British Jeep
Tbh, all the vehicles should be reworked to be set with heavier (proper?) weight and revised suspension to match the weight. In addition to that, there is some other really neat options like the clutch factor which cutts off the throttle when shifting and manymore candies that would bring driving realism into the game.
I have put some hours into modding it a few years back, but only did the russian and us trucks. To create a realistic and consistent overhaul across the board would take alot of time as it is prettymuch trial and error.

That would be awesome. I guess for most part we could share settings between vehicles (e.g. all trucks could behave same). Like you said, it takes lots of time and we have no one that could do this right nowHeavy Death wrote:Tbh, all the vehicles should be reworked to be set with heavier (proper?) weight and revised suspension to match the weight. As for what we changed on the Landrover, it was solely a bad collision mesh leaving not enough space below the car which resulted in it taking too much damage.

I can look into it and see what can be done to optimize the workload. But cannot promise anything. PR has gotten huge and same phisics could only be used on same models with approx. same features, like for instance all the hmmv variants except the up armored one. Ural and the Us 5t truck maybe similar but they are different. Technical with the 50. could have the same physics as the logi and spg one since the loadout weight is approx the same, but the hydra pod on the rocket techie is provably heavier. And then there are other vehicles.
I have very limited knowledge on tracked stuff so that would be beyond my current reach.
Cant promise anything as I have little spare time to engage such a task atm.

Ground damage all across the vehicle selection is too high along with collision damage to things like trees and such. Would be great if all vehicles got a little bump in resilience.
You can get a lot of damage in things like APCs and tanks by hitting trees or other objects, which often leads to dying to things that would've not taken you out otherwise. And I don't think it's super realistic either...
Even normal ground damage while driving in any vehicle usually takes maybe 5-15% health away from you. If you drive longer or carelessly you might lose 15-50% quite easily.
