Can a profile be preserved for a reinstall?

I would like to reinstall PR on my SSD. Is is possible to preserve the profile and settings after uninstalling then reinstalling?

Sure, just make a copy or zip of the ProjectReality folder in My Documents.

If it's on the same computer, you don't have to do anything, as the profiles are stored in My Documents, not the game folder.

Yes. Go to:

Documents/ProjectReality/Profiles/

and copy all the folders there, eg: 0001, 0002. or just the ones you want to backup. These folders are the profiles. If you want to know which one is the correct one open "Profile.con" that is inside, with any text editor and you'll see in the first lines something like

LocalProfile.setName "UTurista"

And lastly password will not be saved, you'll need to re-introduce it, so make sure you know it.
