Back in 0.6 we had a map in Project Reality called Gulf of Oman, it's the same map used in the Battlefield 2 demo. We also have strike at Karkand, Kubra Dam and the Zatar Wetlands as blast from the past in this custom map pack event! These are absolute Battlefield 2 and Project Reality Classics! We would love to invite the community to a fun night, if not many nights enjoying these nostalgic maps with us!

Custom Map Event - Return to Oman 2nd July and the 3rd of July

The "Return to Oman" FCV PR Event will start around 20:00 PRT (GMT).

The Event will continue throughout the night and through Sunday the 3rd, We will play all the different "New" Maps and Layers available. If you have any questions concerning the Event or the Map Download link, please hop onto the Bluedrake42 Discord and ask our Senior Admins, They should be able to help.

The Official Password for the event will be : fcvpr

We encourage everyone to be able to properly communicate, and all FCV PR rules will apply during this event; Any breaking of the rules may result in a removal from the FCV Server for the duration of the event.

Unfortunately everyone, we have had a horrible case of bad timing.

Our primary website has gone done due to technical issues (which we believe we can fix) which has created problems on our other servers (like shutting down Mumble.) This has rather gotten in the way of us having this event (although we did play a bunch of the maps with a full server and they were awesome! <3)

However while we work on getting these randomly occurring problems fixed, we'll likely schedule another event with these maps in the future for those who weren't able to play them.

Sorry about all this =/ apparently our Grub software (which is like... I guess the BIOS of linux?) was corrupted... rendering our entire webserver inoperable. We haven't lost any files, but until we get our Grub backend fixed... our servers will be down (or otherwise compromised.)

Really apologize about this =/ I was looking forward to playing these maps with my friends, and instead I'm sitting here screwing around with SSH trying to get our servers back online. So hopefully we'll have another event like this soon to make up for it <3
