Object reference not set to an instance of an object

What on earth do I do? I've looked at every other forum post related to this, and everything I've read and tried doesn't work. I have tried reinstalling it 6 times already, I looked in my documents>Project Reality > profiles and looked for 0001 but it wasn't there. I eventually managed to open the registration part in the launcher but after I hit register, the exact same error came up and the launcher closed. What do I do?

Also, yes I do have the latest of everything. DirectX, Punkbuster, etc.

Oh lol Nevermind. I guess I had a different version of DirectX, so I tried installing the directX in the ISO file, and now my game works. Thanks for those of you that would have responded to help!

It seems that sometimes reinstalling directX only works from the offline installer, like it wont install DX9 unless you force it?
