Lower than expected FPS

Post by Doc.Pock »

So i fancied playing this game again, even got a mate to install it as well. Come in and get hit by really damn low FPS. muttrah was below 30, and some other maps made it up to 40.

Im playing with a 4720HQ and a 960M so it should be enough, considering i got constant 100FPS on an old i5 and a GTS 250 back in the day...

Thanks ^^ (and yes i may consider coming back full time if this works out)

Make sure PR uses your discrete GPU and not Intel HD 4600 one.

See 3d profiles in Nvidia CP and set 960M to preffered GPU for PR.

But it is a laptop. Dont expect 960M to deliver the performance of desktop GTX960...

Do you have SSD or HDD is it 7200 rpm or 5400?

Hmm, tried setting power profiles to high performance?

Im not sure if you can turn off C1E, C6, speedstep in UEFi/Bios but try that along with Windoze power profile.

Im in performance mode (and my cpu will boost to its 3.6GHz turbo when playing). and considering i get a smooth 60 in BF3 and above 45 in Fallout 4 this looks really weird.
