I live in Western Canada and he lives in Eastern Texas. We both wanted to play this but without the addition of other players. We boot up Tunngle and I create a co-op *LAN* game. He finds the server and we play together, he crashes after variations of time. Internet games, however, work perfectly fine.
After a few times of this, I figured switch it up. He hosts, I join. I'm fairly computer savvy so it seemed fitting that he can play, get accustomed while I troubleshoot after every disconnect.
So far I have:
- Turned off Firewall
- Turned off A/V
- Enabled Punkbuster B in Services to 'Interact with desktop and Restart after failures
- Disabled uPnP via router
- Disabled Net Heuristics and TCP/IP auto-tuning
- I am connected to Router via Hardline
- My ISP is Shaw
- Tunngle server is a Battlefield 2: PR (Doubt this exact server to be the cause)
- Drivers are ALL up to date
- Specs are listed near the bottom
- Checked virtually every post on PR forums
- Updated Punkbuster
- Cleared Server history via PR Launcher
- Contacted ISP. They pinged me with no issue and changed my IP.
So Far I have *NOT*:
- Had issues with *INTERNET* games
- Killed myself out of frustration
Specs are
- Gigabyte GA 78LMT-USB 3 Rev 6
- FX 6300 3.5 - 4.1 (Turbo)
- Sapphire R9 270X toxic
- 2x4GB RAM in 1600Mhz Dual Channel

My friend and I share similar specs besides his Mobo (ASUS) and GPU (R9 380)
