Win 10 Install on laptop and desktop?

I have 1.3.9 on desktop and working. I want to instal PR on laptop while traveling. I cannot retrieve account from laptop during the install process for some reason? Any ideas. Can i just copy profile.con from the desktop to laptop?

Yes you can copy it over.

You still need to know the password and re-enter it on the new install,

I tried it and it gets me to the launcher but says error 260-my password is wrong. I KNOW IT IS CORRECT- I USE EVERYDAY ON PR from the desktop.
Is there any problem with just creating a new account & profile w same email address [ or new address] and then adding a profile with my original username.?

ps- I intend to try for the PR Tournament if that makes any differance on the new account option as i remember reading something about usernames, etc. I had to register under a differant username at PRT site because of the ~ in my username....
