Hi folks.
I have a Debian Jessie x64 with a very nice setup in VirtualBox for a Windows 7 Pro.
5GB of dedicated RAM
2 cores dedicated of my Intel I7 4500U (note: VT-X acceleration and Nested Paging in VirtualBox)
256MB (maximium allowed in VirtualBox) of my AMD M240 (1GB) (note: with 2D and 3D acceleration in VB)
So I installed and updated my PR with 0 problems, and I get this error:
Error1324: The selected display mode is not supported. Please update display mode in options... bla bla.
In options this display mode is the only one listed.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot.

Re: PR:BF2 in VirtualBox?
Am trying to run PR through VMWare Fusion on my 2013 Macbook Pro 13 with 2,6 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 and Intel Iris 1536 MB graphics card, everything works but it's slow and choppy as hell even on lowest settings - unplayable unfortunately. It worked for VirtualBox too but was too slow to even load a map. I wonder if Parallels Desktop would make it run smoother...?
I would make a Bootcamp partition but I only have one internal SSD of 500 GB, and need to keep OSX for work. Partitioning and installing Windows would be too risky for me.

Re: PR:BF2 in VirtualBox?
Quick update:
It seems my VM is just recognizing my crappy integrated GPU Intel and not the AMD. I am working on it. I will update this thread when possible.

Playing PR on the Macbook now, using Parallels Desktop 12. Medium settings, everything works super smooth, slightly low fps, going from 25-50 but totally playable. Zero crashes, zero problems. Can totally recommend Parallels to anyone who doesn't have the possibility of using Bootcamp. It's almost native.

Re: PR:BF2 in VirtualBox?
Is it when you run PRBF2 or something from VirtualBox itself? I guess you've tried to install DirectX and all dependencies?
