mumble does not even want to launch

PR mumble seems to not work for me and i am not able to even launch it.I can hear anyone and no one can hear me even though my mic and speakers work perfectly well and i checked on windows control panel to make sure.People say i should find pr mumble on my task bar but it is not there.It can not even find it in the PR folder.I tried deleting and red downloading the game and it still doesn't work.This is a major issue as i get kicked out of servers for this reason and also i cant hear what my squad.This is what it says on the log when i try to launch mumble.

I had the same problem and fixed it by going to the PRmumble file here:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\bin\PRMumble

Right-clicking on the PRmumble.exe file, selecting properties and in the compatibility tab I checked the box in Privilege Level to run the program as adminstrator. Hope it works for you. Cheers.

nvm i made it work

mumble will not auto connect to any server and requires my to allow it to start it and people tell me if i manually open it it wont work.So i restarted the game and it still wont auto connect

run PR as admin and change mumble to run as admin only through compatibility -- but the rpc from PR.exe at admin privilege should be enough

check your account you are using has the rights to run things with admin privileges (belongs to the administrators user group)

also might be worth adding mumble and pr to the windows firewall exemptions (+ any other firewall running)

also worth trying installing it outside of c:\program files\ if you have done so
