Same thing here! Just wanted to play again after about a year break. Its pretty heartbreaking not being able to connect.

Fixed it! I was using desura to manage and install my PR, where it worked in previous years they obviously have not downloaded the newest install. It was unable to connect to the server to update itself due to being so out of date.

I'm trying to update but it says Download error 1221 Unable to obtain an update list. I'm on Windows 10 please help
