I need ammo. who has the rifleman kit?

Used to be a call out on comm rose for ammo caused the riflemen to "beacon" on the map, just as a call for a medic still "beacons" medics on the map.
Was the dropping of the response from riflemen intentional? Will we get that back in next patch?

Can't answer your question completely cause i'm not a developer, but i'm quite sure it's just because riflemen are just riflemen and not ammo bearers, they'll carry an MG belt or two, but not so many that it will count them as something sufficient to blink up on map as 'ammo carrier'. Because then we would have AA specialists running to riflemen only to hear 'nope, sorry man I got no ammo.'.

Squad Leaders with Radio's can request ammo, though best thing to do is to ask around on local/trans/apc/tanks for ammunition.

Even your humvee or jeep will have a crate of ammunition.
