Game not loading

I have absolutely no idea what to try next, I'm currently on Windows 10 Build 15063 which is the latest. I followed the instructions on the installation guide. Then as I was installing this came up ( https://gyazo.com/b7148f3ed6940ce791c200a257a7b81f ) which I thought was odd but continued.

After that it all installed and when I click on the launcher it quickly comes up with a splash screen (Just Logo) and then that's it. nothing. as if I didn't click on the game at all.

I tried a post with all updates posted ( https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ution.html ) and even when I try to load them nothing comes up and I've left it for about 10 mins to see if anything would pop up but nothing did, I also made sure to download and check my DirectX 9, .NET framework and Visual C++ so I'm not sure where to progress from this at all.

Please let me know of any possible solutions! Thanks!

That's also the problem, I'm not sure if it's because I updated my system to the latest version. including the creator's update and it's their piracy thing they are bringing in. As when starting the program it just brings me to the UAC and then that's it. Nothing else load's. So I am still back to square one.

I will try to re-install it and add it to my exclusions again. as I use Avast and Windows Defender. Also yes I have the requirements as I ran it previously it just seems this update has messed with it all.

Sorry for the late reply. Is there anything else I could try to get this started?

-I haven't seen this one before. Are you sure the download isn't corrupted? Either redownload with a trusted torrent client or if you can confirm with a checksum tool:

-Avast does more harm than good. Especially when you already have windows defender. Try disabling it completely.

-Firewalls seem to hate everything about this game.

Okay no worries, Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, I'm not too sure what's going on with it, I use Utorrent but maybe swapping over to BitTorrent might be better and will try re-downloading it there. I will try force recheck the download with Utorrent and if nothing comes up I will try BitTorrent and try downloading it again.

I'm still getting that first error during installation, it's like the installer can't connect to the server to check for updates. I have tried adding the installer, updater and desktop shortcut all to exclusions with my AV and firewall so I'm not sure what stopping it but will keep trying things out here to try getting back to playing the game.

EDIT: so after disabling my AV and downloading Bittorrent and trying to re-install it still came up with that error during install so I still continued and came to this screen ( https://gyazo.com/c1db64e8b36d2250c9e6118f62993e58 ) but when I clicked on play still nothing. so I'm totally lost right now. maybe it's to do with the Windows 10, Build 1703 ?

EDIT #2: More info to add to the confusion. So for some reason I can run the PRBF2 in the main directory and this loads ( https://gyazo.com/c64c9a5d18b71b08ead07997fb9b6215 ) but obviously, it loads the fact it's launched from the launcher itself. Completely Baffled

So for some odd reason (it's probably my PC having issues) i just used a registry to take ownership of the files and then proceeded to run it normally and what do you know it just works !

Im not sure if me doing that helped or not but its now working and updating as i type this. If anyone is having this issue try this as it may work.

Will be closing the thread soon as i get in game to make sure all is working.
