Microphone/Headset trouble

When i start PR and reach the menu all audio is fine and i can hear it in my head set, but once i join a server the headset stops working and audio is played through my laptop's built in speakers, even while the headset is plugged in. Also i cannot hear anybody else's mics ingame after this has happened. Thanks and great job on the mod guys its been like 3 years and it looks AMAZING!
