What do distasteful Jew jokes have to do with voluntary mod development? One just can't hide behind the "oh, and as you offended the X minority we are not inclined to provide answers as to why we booted you" (well, they can and are effectively doing that because of the sheep-like mindset of their peers). This is one of the examples where a way of far left thinking (e.g., the fact that some people think that we must blindly obey "you must never offend someone, even within dumb jokes") borders the fascist-like manner of thought (which generally is the ideology the far left hate). I believe that in order to experience cognitive dissonance you have to have your cognitive functions undisturbed by blindly following an ideology otherwise you wouldn't understand what's wrong with your perception.
