Why do you guys use SVN and not GIT :lol:

It may be a coincidence that PR is older that Git :p But we also dont like rewriting tonns of already existing stuff just to change underlying version control system. Not to mention that f.e. myself like git more, but it's still doesn't have ability to not download whole repo like svn do.

I just realised that GIT is actually 2 months younger than BF2, (holy s*** time flies so quickly) but certainly SVN was much more popular and mature product back then as it was 1 year old at the time, so it makes sense. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Migrating from SVN to GIT isn't a straightforward task either.

I'd like to play an earlier patch of PR. Is it possible to uninstall and reinstall up to that patch without the launcher automatically updating to the newest version?

So the tracker tool that some servers use, is that done through the dev team or is it third party? Either way the new maps seem to error out on it.
Before you ask, been playing since 2006 seen a lot of change, some good, most bad. :)

Will you overhaul more old maps? Like Jabal al Burj, Bijar, Black Gold, militia maps?

Jabal is pretty outdated, and should be deleted if anything. Bijar aswell.
Incase of updating Black Gold it would be 3rd overhaul then :D
