I got this too. late last night! After a while i remebered that i did take system restore off. Re-install whole PR but no go, but after i set system restore back on and re-install PR it worked just fine!
Not sure if PR/BF2 take's a snapshot before/after install and if system restore is set off it can somehow mess up the whole game?
Just my 2 cent's, but enabling system restore did the trick for me..
