download broken?

I havent played pr in a while so i decided to. Thats where i made my mistake. When i opened up pr it automatically made me update it to 1.5.4 so i thought no big deal. The update was going fast then it hit 10% and it went up 2 percent in an hour. I decided to redownload pr and it did it again again and again. I redownloaded pr and it works fine everytime but then i get to the update and the update is going to take forever. Can someone pls help me i dont know what to do. Should i just wait it out? Or what do i do someone please help me all i want to do is play the game
