Connection lost after 1 minute playing

Hey, yesterday I installed the game, now I have time to test it. Everytime I connect to a server the game loads in, then I join a squad and spawn. So I play like a minute and the game freezes for a 4-5 second and it says me the server lost the connection with me, the same happens on BF2. I have tried to set the internet settings to T1 lan or Cable ingame, but it didn't solve my problem.

I have had a couple of different people with this issue a few years back and the culprit was some kind of firewall on the router for both.

Something doesn't like the packets BF2 sends.

Must I try disabling these?

I have no idea. Worth a try if it doesn't make your router accessible from outside.

I lost my hope about the game, I think I can't fix it by myself, I don't know why the problem occurs, and how to fix it. I have tried solutions from other topic, none of them worked for me sadly, server is still dropping connection, also tried to turn on punkbuster logging without any success.

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
(default is "enabled")
and

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=highlyrestricted
(default is "normal")

Tried these too, neither of them worked, I'll try it again tomorrow and check if it just needed a computer restart.

Punkbuster is not being used.
Game doesn't even use TCP, that won't do anything.

There's nothing we can do. we don't have the engine code.

There is no fix for your, my, everbody problem. I got the same issue for the past 2 years now.

The only solution is to switch your modem, preferably from another brand.
