BSOD when using Creative X-fi Provider for Sound

Post by MattUK001 »

Howdey all,

I have an X-Fi Sound Blaster but i am unable to use the Creative X-Fi Sound Provider. If i attempt to do so...the game loads in and shortly after crashes (5 to 10 secs).

The BSOD complains about Portcls.sys.

Is anyone else out there using an X-Fi on Win 10 and able to use Creative Audio settings?

I have done a driver removal and installed the latest one.
