You can see a very choppy movement on online-servers.
The character teleports while jumping over a construction.
Do you have any ideas how to fix this?
system specs:
- Windows 10 64bit
- Intel i7 overclocked
- GTX1070
- Logitech G19 keyboard
- down: 59000 kbit/s
- up: 12000 kbit/s
- ping 11ms
I noticed the following
If I go to the desktop (alt+tab) and after a frew secons I switch back to the game the lag is completely gone for few minutes. But after 5 minutes the lag is back. I dont think this issue is server related. I tried to close some windows-services (windows updates, windows search, windows defender) but it didn't work for me.
Choppy, jerky, laggy gameplay

I'm not seeing any new issue, this is just how the engine works. Old technology with imperfect prediction system. Everyone experiences this.
The 2142 video is on a moving titan. It always lagged terribly. That's why they completely disabled moving titan when the shields are down in a patch.

I'm familiar with most BF2 engine problems but this one is new. I have no clues for you. What mothebroard you have?
I would try to disable any 'adaptive' setttings for your network adapter.
I suspect either misconfigured Network adapter or CPU/motherboard adaptive / throttling,
In the video settings I would also try stting the Pre-Rendered Frames to 2. This is related to the timing of instructions as it relates to the video card vs other peripherals on the PC. The network adapter may be confliting with the video card.
