First of all I'd like to say thanks for the new release, WW2 has been a blast so far, and the body dragging feature is amazing. It's looking pretty awesome so far, and I appreciate all the work the devs have put into this. I've been playing this game for over 10 years and I don't see myself putting it down.
Now onto my issue,
Unfortunately this release has introduced a bug that really kneecaps the use of mumble for me.
The Issue:
Mumble is working for local only.
the transmit/talk icon is NOT showing up in-game on the bottom right like it used to, and any attempts to rebind hotkeys work ONLY for local.
Rebinding the squad hotkey doesn't fix it or make people hear me.
People can only hear me on local.
Usernames of who's currently speaking sometimes pop up, sometimes not, but that was a problem even before the update so I assume that's an unrelated issue, though it does seem more prevalent this update.
When I tab out, and look at my name on mumble, I am on the right server in the right squad, and the symbol next to my name lights up when I press the local hotkey, but it doesn't respond to squad, or any of the other hotkeys for that matter (SL to SL) (SL to CMDR), etc...
Things I've tried:
- Opening mumble through the launcher and resetting the hotkeys to default
- Restarting mumble (multiple times) by closing it in the tray,
- Restarting my computer
- Resetting all my profiles within the launcher.
Other information that may be relevant:
This is a fresh install of PR 1.6 using the torrent.
I'm playing on a laptop that lacks numlock, so sadly I can't test the default squad chat key of Numpad 0 (Which is why I rebind), though I rebind local from H to F and that works so I'm not sure the specific key is the issue.
I've only heard of one or maybe two other people that have this issue, so if anyone else does please let me know below so I know it's not just me, and of course any help or solution would be appreciated,
Thanks.

Hi Alaska, nice to see you made it to the forums!Alaska wrote: Things I've tried:

Two more ideas:
1. Check mumble while ingame (icon tray -> mumble -> display mumble -> configuration -> settings) instead than from the launcher and see in the settings if there are any issues there.
2:
IN regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Project Reality\PR Mumble\shortcuts and try to delete
then run prmumble directly and set them again

Hey Nate, thanks for the reply. I've tried both those solutions above and in the case of 1.) the hotkeys show as changed but everything except for local does not work...Nate. wrote:Hi Alaska, nice to see you made it to the forums!

In the case of 2.) the hotkeys reset to default, I opened pr mumble directly without going through the launcher or opening the game and the problem persisted.
I have found somewhat of a solution though. If I change the hotkeys not in mumble but only using the launcher menu, the hotkeys work for the most part, the only thing that doesn't seem to work is deafen self, and any hotkeys that are combinational with the mouse, for example mouse4 + '1'. Unfortunately since I'm on a laptop this is how I do pretty much all my SL to SL hotkeys so for the time being I've set them to p [ ] l ; ' , . / for 1-9, which is quite... counter intuitive but has been a good temporary solution. Also since the launcher doesn't provide it I can't use the 'suppress' feature for the hotkey combinations, which really helped when on a laptop keyboard.
So I guess it seems the problem seems to be that if the hotkeys set within mumble do not match the ones set in the launcher settings, they don't work, or rather, the launcher settings take precedent. Local is the only hotkey rebind that will work, but even then the transmit icon will not show up unless that hotkey is changed within the launcher, not mumble.
For some reason mouse keys don't seem to work to be the first hotkey in a combination when setting within the launcher. For example Mouse5 + '1' to talk to Squad Leader 1. I'm not sure what has changed in mumble to cause these issues but I'd very much like to know if anyone else has these issues, or if anyone else is able, for example, to get Mouse5 + 1 working to talk to SL 1, (Not numpad). Or even if anyone is able to successfully rebind anything WITHIN mumble, and not using the launcher.
Thanks.
