Unable to login

I downloaded PR again today to check out the new update and after installing it I had to login with my steam account.
My issue is that after I login and open the magnetic url (or whatever you call those) nothing happens next. If I try to interact with the login window that now has a new one saying "check your browser" I see that it became frozen, I get the loading ring of death and if I click it it stops responding.
Offline works fine. I had played it before so I might have some residual files from the old version.

i have the same issue, so it's not just me then lol.

UPDATE: i had norton web safe(chrome safe browse) extension turned on, so i just hod to go to chrome settings, extensions and switch off the antivirus safe web. pr works. it loads browser like it should and logs right in with steam.
maybe that will help

I've tried that a couple times but it still doesnt work. Because the launcher freezes I think it doesnt have to do with the browser, at least in my case :/
