Today we are releasing the first update for v1.6. It includes many fixes and quality of life improvements as well as some more bigger changes. We recently released a highlight discussing some of these changes. You can read it here.

PR:BF2 v1.6.1.3 Changelog (2020/06/02)

  • Fixed an issue when trying to build emplacements with wrong crates close by.
  • Fixed a crash when hitting glass or cardboard with 25mm.
  • Fixed a crash when loading maps with Type 95 SPAAA.
Vehicles:

  • Fixed BMP-2 turret not having warm up delay.

  • Updated shaders to fix grass rendering bug on NVIDIA hardware with some graphic settings. (By Forgotten Hope 2)
    Updated UAV to not be allowed to be placed in DOD.
  • Updated critically wounded screen effects to no longer show black-and-white effect.
  • Updated time to wait after jumping to fire weapon again from 2s to 1.25s.
  • Updated stamina cost of jumping from 40% to 25%.
  • Fixed UAV making unintended noise.
  • Fixed UAV not rotating correctly on Linux servers.
  • Fixed PR Debugger not working.
  • Fixed PR Tracker sometimes showing combat areas (DOD) inverted.
  • Fixed various sound effects being played throughout the map.

  • Fixed CROWS vehicles causing a crash.
  • Fixed AAVP7A1 causing a crash.
  • Fixed an issue with BMP-3 main gun AI not working properly, causing a crash when used by bots.
  • Fixed Jets causing a crash due missing and invalid assigned weapon AI for certain planes.
  • Fixed PAK-36 and PAK-40 rounds not being switchable by bots. Potential fix to prevent a crash.

    • AAS128: Fixed not being correct BLUFOR faction. Now corrected to USMC again.
  • Lashkar Valley
    • COOP: Fixed crash on loading.
  • Merville
    • Skirmish: Added DOD to spawnzones.
  • Omaha Beach
    • Added COOP support. (With the help of AATW-Killer)
    • AAS32/64: Fixed Estate flag causing broken ticket bleed behavior.
  • Operation Barracuda
    • COOP64: Fixed assets being assigned to wrong team.
  • Reichswald
    • Skirmish: Added crates to spawnzones.

So no chance of LAT tracking a tank anymore?

The new value is 65%, corrected the changelog. However even with that LAT will have harder time disabling tanks from front or sides. To the back LAT deals a lot of damage and will still give good chance to disable.

By the way, removing delay for kit drop means that it's still 4 seconds (that's what I saw during testing)

  • Fixed invisible Grease Gun for WW2 US Army Paratrooper factions.
I encountered this bug yesterday. It was a very weird bug indeed.

It's very common issue from our side, you must "trick" the game to load models by making a dummy spawner for them. If you don't, this happens. Spawn any kit that isn't in the map and you'll see it happen.

Wow, well you guys need to just keep it like that, CAS was finally balanced and dogfights weren't just who saw who first recently. Very disappointed to hear this was just a bug.
Seriously though consider reverting back to the "broken" system because it seemed like there was finally some balance for CAS.

I agree. It actually worked really nice for balance between trans/CAS and AA for change.
