Who is in charge of the Music?

Post by arm-off-please-help »

Hey!
I was just wondering if there is any one person in charge of the map themes (music).
90% of the maps have really cool musical themes connected to them and I feel thats something that should be talked about more.
Who selects these?
Are they open source?
Why do you sometimes change them? (same map, different music)
...

My favourite was the theme to Operation Overlord..

The soundtrack you linked - "Heart of Courage" - is public domain I believe, made by Two Steps From Hell.

All soundtracks used on maps which are included in the core PR have been made by the PR developers.

Scott Tobin "Alkali"
His youtube channel, scroll down for PR related sountracks

Jafar Ironclad

They are responsible for most of the soundtracks we have in PR. Alkali also composed soundtracks for PR:A2 and Squad. They are not active in PR anymore.

[R-DEV]Arab has been experimenting with soundtracks recently. Perhaps he will be willing to say something more about his future ambitions
